Android Security rubbish? - encrypt your SMS store...

I am putting this up as I know the upcoming Risky.Biz includes a piece on Androids 'woeful security model'...

Nobody will be reading my SMSmessages on the SD Card due to an Android data leak flaw... (http://www.darkreading.com/insider-threat/167801100/security/vulnerabili...)

A thoughtcrimes.org project. (from Moxie Marlinspike SSL Strip fame)

'TextSecure is a drop-in replacement for the standard text messaging application, allowing you to send and receive text messages as normal. All text messages sent or received with TextSecure are stored in an encrypted database on your phone, and text messages are encrypted during transmission when communicating with someone else also using TextSecure. '
Been running it for a week or so now, looks good to me...Still in Beta though.
