Risky Business #214 -- Special guest Kevin Mitnick
This week's feature guest is Kevin Mitnick! Possibly one of the world's best known computer hackers, Kevin has been the subject of several books and even a B-Grade movie. He spent years on the run evading capture by the FBI, eventually winding up in prison for something like five years.
Since his release in January 2000 he's become a successful public speaker, security consultant and author. His latest work, however, is his most well received. Kevin, with writer William L. Simon, has finally written an autobiography, and from nowhere it's become a New York Times bestseller.
I think there's something wrong with the download - just getting 6Kb. Tried 3 diff browsers
Yeah I've had a few people comment -- it's really weird. Try hitting the direct download link.
I am only having troubles when I try to hit up the "play in popup" link... everything else is working fine here... iTunes, embedded player and direct download.
I'll look into this though.
HI Pat - still a problem downloading. Tried several browsers/internetz/PC's
I normally save as from the website.
Downloaded ok from itunes in the end
I'm guessing it was some sort of issue with Amazon S3...
Patrick, I was able to download the 214 show and listened to it the other day.
Also successfully downloaded #215 and looking forward to listening to it this evening.
Fascinating stuff.
Most people are so trusting of the internet, email etc, these interviews might wake them up.

If I look at the episode for episode 214 at
the download link sends me to http://media.risky.biz/RB214.mp3
But if I look at the page here:
http://risky.biz/netcasts/risky-business
the download link sends me to http://risky.biz/netcasts/media.risky.biz/RB214.mp3 , which doesn't work. The episode itself is, as usual, great.
THANK YOU!
Finally I was able to trace the problem -- I left the http:// off in the CMS field for the media file. It seems the CMS can handle that everywhere except for that summary page.
Dude/dudette, thanks so much for sending me that level of detail. Means it's unlikely to happen again. Big thanks, really.
And this coming from someone bagging out companies for making fundamental mistakes with their websites.....

Patrick, I was unable to play or download this podcast. I tried chrome and IE8.
Not sure what the problem is but would love to listen.
